My name is Rita Olsen, and I am the Owner/operator of AZ Ghost Adventures.We are a Team that conducts group and private Historically based Paranormal Investigations in locations throughout Arizona (and the country when possible!).I have experienced Paranormal as far back as I can remember, and as a child it was not uncommon to see things and/or people that I only realized later were not there. As I became older, I feared discussing these happenings because no one else I knew was experiencing these things. It would range from poltergeist activity, seeing shadow figures, having premonitions, seeing full body apparitions, to what I like to call “A movie going on in my head”, which basically means It’s like I can see what or who I am trying to communicate with and what the message is, but I’m not really seeing it… This is what led to my great interest in the Paranormal and metaphysical world. I also feel my purpose in this grand plan is ‘To tell their story, because it’s just as important and anyone else’s story’.Our team has a mission statement which I call our ‘Paraphilosophy’, and a few of the main tenants of our Paraphilosophy is that ‘Everyone experiences the paranormal differently’, and ‘Respect the location & spirits no matter what their history is’. It is through applying this and our other guidelines that we feel we can best communicate with the Spirits. Also, by following the practice of showing no judgement and to never antagonize, the Spirits are more apt to communicate with us to tell us their story. I also work in Occupational Therapy with a background in behavioral and mental health, and over the years have had many experiences with end-stage/dying patients who have experiences with Spirits coming to them before they pass. I have also had experiences with Spirits that reside in the locations I have worked at - even seeing one of my patients that had just passed (I was not yet aware she had passed). I try to apply an evidence-based approach and my clinical training/background in my Investigations as I feel that having that level of empathy toward those that have passed, allows me to better communicate with them. My team is small and everyone that is on it brings something to the table insofar as abilities, this helps with having a well-rounded approach to helping others during our investigations. Our Investigations are interactive, and we do our best to help our Guest Investigators learn about not only the history of the locations, but to conduct a responsible investigation while also exploring abilities they may have (which is frequently the reason they attend our Investigations in the first place).

Mathew David Hart is a sensitive, channeler, empath and a Hollywood television and film producer who has been chronicling his adventures (and misadventures) with the unseen world ever since a spooky ghost encounter in March 1982 left him an unknowing victim of two spirit attachments at the age of 21.Over the course of the next 22 years, before Mathew finally discovered and released his attachments in 2004, Mathew struggled with the effects of the attachments including depression, disconnection, and anger issues.
