Before I can tell you remarkable stories of men I have been honoured to mentor, I begin by telling you about my first mentor. 

Paolo was a seasoned therapist who took me under his wing, at the worst time in my life. 

I was broke, burned out, quit my training as a therapist and was struggling daily with panic attacks and depression. 

Paolo went into terrain way beyond therapy with me, risking his status and daring to love me as a son. 

Re-parenting me, challenging me and loving me into being, Paolo gave me the confidence to finish my degree and set out into the world, daring to try to be of service and helpful to others.
