Hi My name is Tracy and I used to be addicted to pain.

This is actually true in some ways…

My entire job revolved around pain as a Chiropractor and helping people manage it is a part of health right? Well we talked about health last week…

I also realized I was taught to make pain significant and that pain was bad, wrong, evil and had to be managed, or dealt with. My job as a doctor was to ‘do’ something (and most times figure out how to fight the pain) by identifying the anatomical structures responsible for the pain…

It wasn’t until I worked with Veterans who lost limbs, and had pain in those areas (called phantom limb pain) that I started to have a different perspective on pain. There was literally no anatomical structures to point to as the cause of pain - was their pain real? Or maybe they’re just crazy?

This was the first door that opened for me where I started to question what I was taught about pain and in my moment of extreme pain and vulnerability I discovered pain might be something entirely different.

Hear me out: what if pain is information? Perhaps information you have resisted….

Have you ever felt healthy? Have you not felt healthy?

What contributed to that? 

Was it the same if you’ve experienced it multiple times?

Most people have a definition of health and they don’t even really know what it is..and some other people have a strict definition based on what they eat or how much they exercise

Funny thing is that the WHO for DECADES claimed that health was “the absence of disease” and in 2020 they changed it to “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. This is definitely an improvement; however it is still non specific 

I give you some personal examples of how I chose to integrate the concept of health into my life and questions you can ask yourself if you want to create ease for you and your body!

Every week I introduce myself and then acknowledge both you and your body! And now I want to spill the tea on why I chose that (and will continue to do so)

My point of view has always been that I am not my body - I swear I came here with that…

However, while doing my Doctor thing, I noticed that people have differing points of view and a dominant one is that you ARE your body. 

First of all, that just seems way too boring to me. But in all seriousness, please ask yourself this question: Am I my body? Or am I the same as my body? And see what awareness comes to you

I have been aware that a lot of people are experiencing pain and suffering in their bodies and what has worked in the past to mitigate their pain is not working anymore. Throwing money at this issue may not resolve the problem.

How do I know? Because I have been a recipient of that as a Doctor and I have thrown money at my own body pain as a patient. 

It was different information that led to a completely new perspective and not only a reduction in bodily pain but a whole different world. 

One where I acknowledge the greatness of my body, her own consciousness and how much she wants to contribute to me! Kind of beyond this reality type shit

It has taken me my own time to get there but I’m there and I know a different reality is possible with bodies!

Howdy!

This may be how I would greet you if I had amnesia ;) 

In today’s episode I wanted to share this concept that entered my Universe recently - what if you woke up and had amnesia??

What would you choose? How much would it differ from what you are currently choosing? A lot? A little bit? Or a Mega ton?

My business has experienced some plateaus recently and I started defaulting to looking for the answer on how to ‘fix it’. I realized I was choosing that from a very limited place and based on my past experiences.

I listened to Chip Wilson and he mentioned that he asked this question and I have been implementing this into my life and I am genuinely enthused to see where it leads!

Instead of being scared - something else is showing up?

Have you ever had a conversation that just lingers in your world for maybe days after?

That happened to me this past weekend when I met someone who was so special and she was just literally being herself thinking nothing of it. I tell you the story in this episode of what made her so special and she dropped a bomb of insight into my World

She highlighted the fact that at such a young age she has been able to discover and strengthen her natural gifts because she wasn’t told she had any limitations…

My upbringing was different because my whole life had been built around what I could not do aka limitations…does that feel familiar to you?

This is something we are entrained to do aka this entire society is built that way… we all get to be good little girls and boys who are controllable. This works for a lot of people and seems ‘easier’ in some ways. If this is you, there is nothing wrong with you!

If this doesn’t work for you, there is nothing wrong with you and you are not crazy! 

Experiencing life from no limitations and many more possibilities can be disorienting and take courage to develop the muscle. 

The first step with any kind of change is to be aware of what works for you and what you want to create for the future!

Have you ever heard of ‘your thoughts create things’? I thought this was interesting and I like to try things out for myself so I wanted to know if this was true for me

Dr. Joe Dispenza talks a lot about this in his work so I highly recommend you google him if you want to find out more. I was surprised to find out that for me, its not so much your thoughts that create things but more your point of view

For example - I recognized I had a point of view that it would take a long time to heal/change chronic pain. I mean it’s chronic - aka it took a long time to develop so it should take a long time to heal? I didn’t think this direct thought every single day, but I had this point of view so my thoughts were those that defended this point of view

The wild part about all of this is how EASY (yes easy) it can be to change your point of view. The most challenging part is recognizing what your point of view is!

I didn’t know that for most of my life I was operating from this point of view AND when you listen to the episode you will hear me talk about another extremely wacky point of view I had that it literally took me laying in an MRI machine to discover that I had. And I also share with you how I changed it

Finally, I was in an MRI as a part of a research study with Dr. Joe Dispenza’s team and the initial results are coming out and I laughed when I saw them because I knew they could be game changing - and they are even better than that!

Change can be challenging and ease filled - it doesn’t HAVE to be hard :)

Hi you and your body! Something that is up in my World is pain. I am not experiencing pain, but not that long ago, I literally thought pain was my life…

I was dealing with chronic lower back pain while being a Chiropractor who was supposed to help others manage and navigate their own pain. I am obsessed with learning so I began to investigate how I could manage my own pain to help other people with theirs..

I took the path that is wayyyy less travelled and I ended up on the other side without any back pain. This path is weird and wacky..but it works. It just does. And it was easier than I thought!

Kind of sounds like a fake fairy tale and I can tell you it is not. I share the details of my experience in this episode. I chose to share this experience with you because of an experience recently with some people who were suffering with pain and desperately searching for a linear answer.  

From my experience, when it comes to pain, linear answers actually keep you trapped in the cycle of pain longer. Eventually this cycle becomes more and more hopeless. 

What if there was another possibility? Are you willing to be vulnerable with yourself? Are you curious about what's on the other side of pain?

I did not know I was ruining my life for the longest time. I just thought that it was ‘normal’. What was I doing?

I was looking for the ANSWER. I never said this out loud, however energetically, I was looking for ‘the thing’, whether that was fitting in or belonging so that I would finally be okay. Or achieve ultimate normalness aka success?

I chose this again and again even becoming a Doctor because you are happy and make lots of money if that’s your profession…right?

The energy of ‘the answer’ is being projected at us all over this reality and I don’t judge anyone for choosing it (I clearly did for so long). One day, I realized, man this really doesn’t work for me!

Also what a beautiful example the pandemic was as well - no one had answers and if you’re listening to this, you made it to the other side.

In today’s episode I want to add more tools and questions to your toolbox if you are itching to create a life worth living beyond this reality!

Hello you aware being with a body! Today's episode is about addressing some energy that may be weighing you down - and the best way I know how to do that is to share with you my real life experiences as a Doctor

Doctors are seen as some of the most kind and caring people in society. I am a naturally curious person and after working with people in pain in intense environments, I wanted to break up some of that dense energy in anyway I could.

I took all the courses possible at the time since I was convinced I just didn't have the correct technique to help my patients, which didn't change as much as I thought. After getting desperate, I chose to lean on my natural curiosity and ask questions. To my surprise, questions started to open up a completely different space with different information! This changed the trajectory of my career

I started creating a space where people could be vulnerable and acknowledge energies and emotions that they had suppressed for a long time. However, this didn't fit what most people expected since they were in a Chiropractor's office (and I came to find out that 'too much' change without working hard for it is not received by many people). So because the dense energies were still present and because I could perceive them, I thought my job AND the kind/caring thing to do was to 'clean them up'.

The only way I knew how to do that was by taking them on myself - which I can tell you worked out terribly and I learned the most valuable lesson of my life in this process which I share and repeat TWICE in this episode so definitely tune in to hear it (towards the end of the episode)

I know there are more people who are experiencing what I did and you can feel crazy because this is not something we have addressed so PLEASE feel free to share this with whomever pops into your mind!
