Today I chatted with the luxurious Amanda Bernadine, LMSW about the importance of Black Women Social Workers in our school system.  There is a value that cannot be overlooked in speaking the same language our kids speak because we come from the same place.  
Both of us having ties to Buffalo -- we discussed the disappearance of Saniyya Dennis and what the school can do to help their students deal with this traumatic experience.  
Amanda also provides us with some helpful tips to get your kids acclimated to returning to school in person.
