Black Women aren't respected even when we are overqualified and over accomplished.  Jane Campion's dimwitted comments at the Academy Awards to Venus and Serena and the GOP's unprofessional and consistent disrespect during Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation hearings reinforced this!
