Our guest this week is Tyler Yue, cofounder and COO at Bixin a leading Bitcoin wallet and services provider out of Beijing. Tyler is a well-known builder and thought leader in the Chinese Bitcoin community. He is also a polymath with accomplishments outside of the Bitcoin space including as a scholar with a public role in the Austrian economics community in China and as a creator in the music space, making a name for in the Chinese rap scene. @DistRiggs and Tyler talk about his ideological formation and schooling in Austrian economics in Spain, his return to China to cofound Bixin (then HaoBTC) and run the “Chinese Bitcoin Talk” in the early days of Bitcoin in China, grinding through bear markets as a Bitcoin company and unique funding methods Bixin employed, the 2017 hard fork as it was perceived by the Chinese community and finally the development of the rap scene in
