In this introductory episode, the hosts Aaron "Kru Juice" Veverka, Gumby, and Steve introduced the podcast's concept as a think tank for believers and non-believers to explore difficult questions of faith and reason while enjoying local beers. They shared their personal backgrounds, motivations, and critiques of Western evangelicalism for oversimplifying faith and ignoring historical context, advocating for a Berean approach to scripture. No guest was featured. We drank Platform Brewery's "Clevelander" (a crisp pilsner-ale hybrid with rich tones) and "Tang Life" (a tart Berliner Weisse with lemon, guava, and tamarind notes).
