• The hardening of Pharaoh’s heart:
  • I will harden [his/Pharaoh’s] heart (4:21; 7:3; 14:4, 17)
  • Pharaoh’s heart was/is/remained hardened (7:13, 14, 22; 8:19; 9:7)
