The labor of love springs from the work of faith. Bible religion means constant work. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may  see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).  Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God that  worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. We are to  be zealous of good works, be careful to maintain good works. And the  true Witness says: “I know thy works” (Revelation 2:2). {2SM 20.4}

The  religion of the Bible recognizes no caste or color. It ignores rank,  wealth, worldly honor. God estimates men as men. With Him, character  decides their worth. And we are to recognize the Spirit of Christ in  whomsoever it is revealed.—Testimonies for the Church 9:223. {2SM 486.3}

Thus  Christ sought to teach the disciples the truth that in God’s kingdom  there are no territorial lines, no caste, no aristocracy; that they must  go to all nations, bearing to them the message of a Saviour’s love.—The Acts of the Apostles, 20. {2SM 486.4}
