This is the first of a 6 part series on Making Time. Everyone has the same number of hours in the day so why do some people seem to get so much more done? Why do some other people seem so rushed and others seem so casual?

In today’s episode, Randy talks with Mark Batterson, lead pastor of National Community Church in Washington, D.C. Randy and Mark dive into many of the relevant and troubled topics of today’s world including divisional politics, community views, societal pressures and more. Phil discusses how to approach the next generation and instill a love of the Bible and Scripture Engagement with them. An important aspect of this is the education and teaching of the adult community surrounding children and giving them the tools and confidence themselves to teach the younger generation about the Bible and help them understand and develop a passion and understanding of Scripture themselves.

In today’s episode, Pastor Randy Frazee introduces us to Nicole Martin, the Senior Vice President for Ministry Impact at American Bible Society. Nicole introduces us to the concept of “The Movable Middle”, referring to those people that are introduced to the Bible, but may be considered “mid-way engaged” versus those that are Bible-centered. Nicole discusses how Scripture Engagement is important to develop those that could choose to engage less with Scripture or more with Scripture depending on what they are exposed to and taught.
