A Humiliated King

Faithfulness is proven over the long term, and later lapses of faithfulness will be judged. Joash was a king who started well but then fell near the end of his reign and led the people away from God. Jesus is the only perfect king, the sinless Son of God who was faithful to the Father, even enduring the cross to provide forgiveness and salvation for all who trust in Him.
