On today's Bible Talks episode of the Coffee with Keith podcast, we see Jesus is once again asked a question, most often trying to capture him in some type of heresy. Today, the tables are turned,, as Jesus addresses his crowd of follower. He speaks about the message verses the messenger, driving the point home by illustrating the activity and motivation of the Pharisees and others within the Jewish leadership. But, rest assured, my friend, there is a message for us in this as well. I have seen too many wonderful people spend more effort to follow a teacher than they do the teaching. That, in my opinion, is a prescription for disappointment, and possibly even, a loss of faith. I always tell people, follow my teaching if you like, but don't "follow" me, follow Jesus (you can follow me on social media and this podcast--haha).
