In today's Bible Talks episode of the podcast, we are turning our attention to Matthews 25:1-13. Now, the theme of this text, as well as all of the Lectionary text for this week, seems to be about the end times, or the "second coming of Christ." And, just to be honest...this is my least favorite topic to speak on or speak about. Why? Because I have so much uncertainty about it. People throw out terms like pre-tribulation, post-tribulation, pre-millennial, post-millennial, a-millennial. And of course, let's not forget the massive discussions on the "Rapture." Well, I will admit that even after the ton of research I have done on this subject, my view is--I just don't know. In fact, I submit that if someone talks to you with complete certainty, you might want to be careful and not drink the Kool-Aid.
Instead, in this episode, I want to share with you 2 simple things I try to hold to when it comes to this massive topic of eschatology.
So, grab that coffee and let's chat today on the Pivot to Prosper podcast.
