In this episode of Bible Thoughts, Pastor Rusten looks at Jeremiah 44 to learn from an example of pragmatism gone awry. The Bible is not pragmatic when it comes to prosperity. Prosperity sought intentionally without God is a curse, and will fade into a wasteland. Prosperity that comes through faithfulness to God is a gift he loves to give. Yet prosperity is never the determining factor of faithfulness.
