Jesus said that the badge of our discipleship is whether we love one another (John 13:35). The Apostle Paul lists love as the first evidence of God's working in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23), and he goes on to say that whatever gifts we have accomplish nothing if exercised without love (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).
