Just under the surface, the conversations about women in the Church, women in Church leadership, and women in ministry are very familiar. The sticky points about women in the church regarding church polity have to do with greatness and titles. Fortunately, the disciples and the religious leaders of Jesus' time were also obsessed with greatness and titles, so Jesus had multiple opportunities to provide teaching for us on these matters. This may not answer all the questions we are asking on this broad topic, but it does provide another layer of context within which the questions are being asked.
