What does the Bible mean when it calls itself inspired? This phrase comes 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is inspired by God...." Critics of the Bible say the scriptures contain numerous contradictions, and that it cannot be trusted. For those of us who know it is God's word, this is a serious charge. What a naysayer is declaring is that God is a liar and His word is unreliable.  So, is the Bible fool's gold, or is it objective truth?
