The conversation flows from seeing scripture systematically as sets of  doctrine, and the apologetic value of viewing the Bible this way, to seeing simultaneously the scriptures as various themes leading to Jesus. The hosts hope to communicate the value of both techniques, that instead of contradict ought to compliment as we exegete the scriptures.
