The Sonship Place

Biblical Womanhood Calls for Uniqueness

Listen Later

Biblical womanhood is not about imitating men to get ahead or be effective. The girl boss era taught women to behave like men, but God's design calls for embracing the unique qualities He placed in us as women. This discussion examines biblical examples from Tamar, Rahab, Jael, Mary, Martha, and Abigail who each operated in their distinct feminine strengths without compromising their identity. The teaching addresses how women often try to assimilate masculine traits to succeed, much like colonial patterns of conformity. This is for you if you've struggled with finding your voice as a woman without losing your feminine identity, or if you've felt pressure to adopt masculine approaches to be taken seriously in leadership or advocacy.
