The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 1:

3:05pm- On Wednesday, President Joe Biden signed a foreign aid package totaling $95.3 billion—with $60.8 billion earmarked specifically for Ukraine. The bill had passed in the House of Representatives on Saturday before being passed in the Senate with a vote of 79 to 18 Tuesday evening. The aid package also includes a measure that would force Chinese company ByteDance to sell its popular social media platform TikTok, within 6 months, to an American-based company—citing a current threat to national security. Refusal to sell TikTok would result in the app being banned in the United States.

3:30pm- James Lynch of National Review writes: “Former Biden administration disinformation head Nina Jankowicz has launched a new organization to fight against conservative efforts to combat online censorship. Jankowicz launched the American Sunlight Project this week to fight what she believes to be a campaign by conservatives to undermine the anti-disinformation industry.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/former-biden-disinformation-czar-launches-group-to-defend-online-censorship/

3:40pm- While speaking to the press after President Joe Biden signed a $95.3 billion foreign aid package, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blamed Tucker Carlson for delaying the bill’s passage—citing the former Fox News host’s vocal opposition to Ukraine aid, which caused a group of Republican members of Congress to combat the bill.
