Taxing the ”rich” is a HOT topic and has been for some time. It seems like it is an idea that isn’t going away anytime soon since the Biden administration looks to be planning for a billionaire tax to fund their budget and ”decrease deficits”. No matter what you believe should occur, I wanted to discuss this topic, the ramifications of such taxation, and how a tax like this may ultimately work. It is unclear if something like this will ever gain real traction and get through Congress, but never say never. Paying their ”fair share” may happen sooner than later.
