Howdy y'all! Nice to "meet" you! Welcome to Wake and Cake Pod and the birth of it's journey in this first episode! I'm coming to you presently from Baja, Mexico where I recently relocated from San Diego.  My name is Lauren Jamison AKA Kosher Barbie in the Stand Up Comedy world or to my good pals (which I hope to be with my listeners very soon!), L-J!  I'm a sober comedienne originally from Houston, TX who daily practices eating clean, staying clean and trying to keep it clean! It's all Kosher baby - most of the time! 

Inside this first ep I tee off with the launch of this new project, one that I've been procrastinating to do... just one of my many character flaws! Today is the day and boy is it a special one! In Mexico, Friday the 13th doesn't superstitiously resonate like it does in the states,  but I love this Friday more than ever! Besides the release of this pod, tonight I have the privilege of safely performing for an audience LIVE (not on Zoom!) for the first time in Mexico. Taking my Comedy international, y'all and I look forward to detailing that on a later episode!
