In this technical deep dive, Christoph Wertz, System Engineer from Cloudera – Arrow’s newly signed supplier partner – discusses the history of Big Data, what solutions were originally implemented to manage it, and how Cloudera has stepped in and created a platform that collocates data, transforms it, and drives value. Originally, managing data was very batch oriented; but the present and the future need is near-real-time streaming with machine learning and predictive analytics. Simply stated, Cloudera can collect data from disparate data sources, both structured and unstructured, into their single platform and then they simply sort it all out at a much lower cost than other suppliers. Listen to this podcast where we delve into the details of Cloudera’s offering and why their motto is: From the Edge to AI.
