There is always going to be someone telling you, you can't do this or that. Make them eat their words.

Often times we have to enter the workforce even though we could care less about working. All because working allows you to do a lot of the things you wouldn't be able to do other wise.

But what comes with those jobs can be life altering or sometimes make you want to be done with the whole thing. All because you're forced to deal with those that you wouldn't choose to deal with on your worst day.

These are just a few of my experiences and I would love to hear about some of yours

Also if you haven't heard there was another senseless shooting, involving a very much entitled police officer and a innocent black woman who posed no threat.

I'll be the first to say I'm not aware of everything that took place, but from everything that I'm seeing on social media it looks like she got killed for no reason at all; other than there was an officer that so no value of her life.

This episode is for all my people out there that feel like they need people's approval to have a happy existence. I'm here to tell you; that is the last thing that should be on your mind.

The funny thing is; it doesn't matter how many times someone tells you this; you are always going to perform for people. You're going to perform until you learn and are confident in who you are and the value you've placed in yourself. Some of us learn this a little later than others. But once you do, the whole world starts to open up to you. Things that once put you on edge not make you at ease.

Not only that, things that seemed to take all your energy are now giving you energy.

This happens when you realize it's not all about you, Boo. Most people are too worried about themselves to worry about you. So I suggest you do the same.

There has been much that has been going on in the world, always. But what I see going on more and more everyday is lack of community. What a lot of the younger generation doesn't seem to realize is that community was the super power the people in our communities had.

What makes us ripe for the picking now is our lack of community. Because there is so much that can be done because we have all distanced ourselves from one another. Making it hard to tear the walls down and really be able to do something that could benefit us all.

This is my point of view; not sure if you feel the same.

So many of us have been taught to give in absents of ourself. A lot of the time we don't realize we're doing it because it's something we were taught from young. This is especially true if you have younger siblings or are a female.

There isn't a thing wrong with being selfless, just make sure you maintain a balance.

Sometimes you may be the light in a very dimly lit room. There is never anything wrong with you. The problem is with them. If people make you feel like you need to dim your light never give in to their request because you were beautifully and wonderfully made by the most high and he never makes any mistakes. If he wanted you to be what they want you to be he would have made you that way. He didn't so there is nothing else to be said.
