The Gospel is NOT ‘God is good; you are bad; try harder.’ The Gospel is that even when we were unworthy, God sent his Son to live the life we could not live, to die the death on the cross that we deserved, to pay the price for sin and death, to adopt us as sons and daughters and to invite us into the family.

The opposite of faith is not doubt.
