purpose over popularity! Living for the approval of people keeps you

from the purposes of God. If you don’t know the purpose of your life,

you’ll misuse it - ask your creator about your purpose - then live in

it. We please God when we live according to his purposes!

3 thoughts about the power of purpose

1️⃣ Purpose diminishes distractions

A big distraction is ‘comparison’. Like Nehemiah, we need to recognize

the daily good work God has called us to and not live for the approval

of people.

2️⃣ Purpose pushes us through the pain.

We all face pain at some point when opposition comes against us, but we

can’t let that process pull us away from our walk with God.

3️⃣ Purpose empowers you to please God

Moses walked faithfully in his purpose and in so doing pleased God.

(Acts 5:29) When we choose to obey and follow God rather than people we

live a life that pleases God.
