In the 1980s Yorkshire towns were all male prowess, which usually ment attempting a liquid suicide on drink each night to show your tribe what a man you  were ,It ended with some terrible casualties , the Yorkshire accent is extremely harsh and to most people I would think almost  incomprehensible good luck .
