Coming up on the show this February 17th we have two wonderful guests.
At 4.30pm we have Spiro Economopoulos from Europa Europa Film Festival opening at Lido Cinemas Hawthorn and Classic Cinemas.
Spiro Economopoulos is the Artistic Director of Europa! Europa Film Festival. Before that, was the Program Director for the Melbourne Queer Film Festival for 7+ years. Previously he was part of the film programming and exhibitions team at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. He also led the programming for the Dungog Film Festival, has written plays for Melbourne Workers Theatre, directed and written short films for SBS and is a regular freelance film reviewer.

After 5pm we have Kristy from the Casterton News coming to talk to us.
Fourth generation Casterton local, born and raised and did all of her schooling at Casterton Primary School then Casterton High School.
Worked for independent newspapers in five Australian states and territories (the NT is this whole other country and world, which just happens to be landlocked to mainland Australia – was there when Falconio disappeared), was in the middle of the Black Saturday Bushfires, survived a stint ‘on the dark side’ working for a Federal MP during the time of ‘Kevin ‘07 (Fran Bailey won the most marginal seat in the country), came back to take on managing editor’s role of The Casterton News (the newspaper she grew up with, where family birth notices, deaths and marriages were all shared) in 2018.
