He is an innovator - as the founder of the Hahavishnu Orchestra - Darryl Rhodes was the front man for one of Rock’s truly innovative bands in the middle to late 1970’s. Kurt Loder from Rolling Stone Magazine said, Rhoades as "one of the most savagely gifted writer/performers in the country today".

He is rock and roll music historian. He is an avid baseball fan and collector of memorabilia. He is an Atlanta icon. When he is in Atlanta or touring he is in his other home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Darryl is close to finishing his memoirs which will describe his life growing up in Atlanta and his life on the road for the past 40 years.
