The FDA and the Big Olaf Creamery is recalling Big Olaf Ice Cream, all flavors, all sizes.  These dairy products are all contaminated with listeria monocyogenes.  This bacterium causes serious and life-threatening infections in the very young, older and frail adults, and in those with compromised immune systems.  Listeria also triggers miscarriages and stillbirths.  This ice cream was sold at Big Olaf retailers in Florida and at one location in Fredrickburg, OH.  Dispose of these products immediately.  For additional information about the recall and refunds, contact Big Olaf at 1-941-365-7483.
