Welcome to 2022, baseball fans! Tab and Paul jump back behind the mic to discuss the big news of January. No, not a new CBA and spring training coming in a few weeks -- the election of David Ortiz into the National Baseball Hall of Fame! We found out this week that Big Papi is the only member of the Class of 2022 voted in by the BBWAA. He'll join Tony Oliva, Jim Kaat, Minnie Miñoso, Gil Hodges, Bud Fowler and Buck O’Neil in the induction class of 2022; they were voted into the Hall by the Early Baseball Era and Golden Days Era committees.

The guys look at the impact Big Papi had on and off the field as an Afro-Latino in Boston, his transition from Minnesota to becoming the face of the Red Sox, and his place as arguably the greatest DH in history. They also take some time to talk about those who didn't get in -- especially Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. Whose fault is it that they weren't voted in? Where should the anger of fans over their exclusion rest? And are their chances of ever being inducted dead and gone... or is there still a chance?
