Big Shot, Chapter 3 – Puzzles Galore

The maître d' spills some Café Americain about Danny.

The stranger in town is laser-focused on finding Danny Hillcrest. A fact that puzzles everyone who knows Danny. Even so, Giles, the front desk clerk at the Venus Arms Hotel and Towers, attempted to be accommodating. He suggested the stranger speak with the hotel restaurant's maître d'. A good suggestion. The supposedly-French headwaiter is all too happy to dish some dirt on the departed Danny.
