Big Sister Talk Intro

Growing up, I never had an older sibling to turn to, and the more I observed, the more I realized I became the older sibling for everyone around me. I’m often seen as the “mom” of my friend group, I have two younger siblings, and I’ve always been a people-pleaser. It wasn’t until I started listening to podcasts and reflecting on my past that I truly began to work on becoming the best version of myself. I created this podcast for anyone who is the oldest sibling, or anyone who feels like they’re going through life alone. Let me assure you, you're not alone. It took me a long time to realize that I didn’t always have to cater to others and put my own happiness on the back burner. As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned the importance of taking care of myself and filling my own cup first. There’s a lot I wish I had known during some of the most formative years of my life, and I hope to be the person who offers you the advice and support you need as you navigate your own journey.
