Today we talk about Trump’s recent Ai executive order, “The Genesis Mission”. People are just delusional enough to think it will make life better. It will not, it cannot. In that vein, we discuss “The United States of Delusion” that explains in simple terms just how manipulated we really are in our thinking on a wide range of social issues. Then along comes a woman who was married to a Schwab-ite and she blows the lid off that level of manipulation via the WEF. The strangeness lies in creating a Peace Board with him at the head, and an international force in Gaza. They still don’t have any idea as to where a Palestinian state might end up, or who might be heading up this force, but details rarely matter anymore. We also look at the soon-to-conclude Climate Summit and find out what they are up to minus US support. We talk about those powerful data centers, and why people are starting to revolt over the cost to build and to run them. From the further Islamization of Texas to Ai toys for the holiday from China, again we have to wonder to ourselves not just why things are so strange of late, but can they get any stranger?

It’s hard to pinpoint a time in recent history that gave us rapid-fire, game changing and game-over type events to further confuse and mystify all who behold them. Today we take on terror and proxy states and how in the world is this going to end in the Middle East? While we know plenty from Scripture, we know little about the game afoot from a political stance. But wait, there’s more: talking about 6G as something far more than the latest standing in line event for the new iPhone. It really IS a game changer if you understand the coming Beast system. We talk about Keir Starmer and the UK timeline for a national ID. It’s not like we don’t expect these things – when only a few years ago we marveled at these things. And the whole world will “marvel at the Beast” (Revelation 13:3). Nothing at all, nothing, should surprise prophecy students today, we’re just confirming what you already expected. Some day, it WiLL be “Game Over” for planet earth, ushering in the glorious, righteous kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Mary welcomes back Bible teacher Chris Quintana to get a grip on the times. When people say, “get a grip”, what do they mean? Getting a grip on reality in 2025 includes really pausing to see things for what they are. The waves of the sea tossing, with a side of perplexity suggests that God is backing the world into a corner and they are not seeing a way out. What does this look like then? We talk about the chaos that leads to global change, in a number of categories. When Dickens had his beloved Scrooge say, “I’ll retire to bedlam”, what did that mean? Back in the 13th century, there was a hospital in London for the insane called Bethlehem Hospital, shortened to “Bedlam”. When Scrooge was talking to Bob Cratchit about Christmas and the “insanity” of celebrating anything, being merry, when he didn’t have two shillings to rub together – that was “insanity”. Scrooge further implied that if he were to do that, find himself happy outside of his wealth, he would willingly have himself committed – “retire to Bedlam”. This showed his priorities over everything, including people.  The craziness in this world, it is not going anywhere. We talk about the technocrats, rich tech engineers who do see the chaos in the world’s systems, and believe that the order that tech brings, and control over everything and everyone, will bring order. We look at various other crises and the answers the world gives to the chaos. A fascinating hour with an articulate man.

Mary welcomes speaker, author and AI expert Scott Townsend to the podcast to talk about the concerning characteristics of AI. The word “artificial” should give us our first clue as to what kind, if any, intel is within. Scott has written extensively on why we should be extremely wary of the potential delusion that comes packaged with the “illusion”. A parrot can say that 2+2 is 4, but it doesn’t know why. In a similar way, AI can spout all sorts of learned input but has no idea the physical reality. AI can tell us when certain stars or planets will be predictably in our skies, but has no knowledge of the physics in motion to make it true. We look at patterns and inference in AI, and all the ways it fails the simplest sniff tests. Also for discussion, Scott’s gracious and heartfelt open letters to pastors, to challenge them to present prophecy biblically, as well as what we see in the news that obviously points to the season of Christ’s return. How is it that they don’t even have a working knowledge of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation? Is their approach to ministry more temporal than looking to our sure future? A timely discussion with a true Watchman for our time.

From time to time, it’s okay to step back from the pop prophecy that we have been taught and make sure we aren’t torturing the text. To make sure we can defend our position FROM the text. Originally coined in the 1990’s, the Information Superhighway was a term used to describe digital communication systems that is mostly associated with then Senator and future Vice President Al Gore. The basic idea was to be able to provide access to information to all, no matter what the level of income was. With the explosion of the World Wide Web, essentially, the Internet became the information superhighway. Other resources describe the concept as “…directly connects millions of people, each both a consumer of information and a potential provider…” or “a route or network for the high-speed transfer of information…” or “something that will link every home or office to everything else – movies and television shows, shopping services…” And it changed the world. No one saw it coming, any more than people alive in 1890 anticipated the US Freeway system. With that in mind, today’s news cycle gets some context as we talk about all the headlines fit for a Wednesday! We start off with trending news, including the historical 8.8 quake in far eastern Russia. Is it one of the biggest in history as is being claimed? Then we talk about the Trump EU tariff deal and what it means for geopolitics. Tim takes on hurricanes and the frequency of those over the last couple years, and it’s probably for a reason you did not expect. We look at an immigration warning for America based on the July deal signed between Starmer and Macron. Finally, AI is spiritual. Sci-Fi has told us it is forever in the future, but truly, it’s here –  and we still think it’s in the future. A fertile ground for massive deception.
