Heyyy Abu Dhabi! Hi, I’m Lena and welcome to another episode of the Lovin Abu Dhabi Show!Welcome back to The Lovin Abu Dhabi Show, where we break down the biggest headlines, the feel-good stories, and everything making this city buzz.Today’s episode is a big one. We’ve got major global recognition for the UAE, a massive act of generosity making a real difference, and some beautiful brotherhood celebrations across the region. Let’s get into it..........Okay… this is HUGE......The UAE has officially moved into the top three global residence destinations in the 2026 Global Residence Program Index. That’s right, from fifth place to joint second. And it’s the strongest rise in the entire index. This ranking isn’t just about vibes, it looks at quality of life, investment pathways, tax efficiency, compliance, mobility, and overall credibility as a place to live long-term. And the UAE is now sitting right up there with the world’s best.Experts say this shift reflects something bigger: Countries like the UAE and Singapore are redefining how global mobility works. Europe still leads, but the momentum is clearly changing. For people living here, this is a strong signal. The UAE isn’t just a temporary stop anymore — it’s being recognised as a serious long-term home for professionals, families, and investors. Major win...........Now to a powerful story.......Business leader Yusuff Ali M.A. has contributed AED 150 million to support the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans initiative. The initiative was launched under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and aims to create a sustainable endowment fund to support orphans across the UAE.This isn’t just a donation, it’s about building long-term impact. The endowment model ensures ongoing support for education, wellbeing, and empowerment. It reflects the UAE’s strong culture of giving and community responsibility. As Yusuff Ali said, investing in children is the highest form of investment and initiatives like this strengthen social unity and shared prosperity. A reminder that generosity here isn’t seasonal, it’s structural..............And finally, a beautiful moment of regional unity. The UAE has joined Kuwait in celebrating Kuwait National Day, marking the deep ties between the two nations. Under the theme “UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever,” nationwide celebrations were held earlier this year, reflecting the strong relationship between the leaderships and people of both countries.Bilateral relations continue to grow across trade, tourism, education, and culture. In fact, total trade between the two countries over the past decade reached hundreds of billions of dirhams with strong growth continuing into 2025.Tourism is also thriving, with hundreds of thousands of Kuwaiti visitors coming to the UAE annually and strong flight connectivity between the nations. It’s a partnership that keeps expanding, economically, culturally, and diplomatically...........Thanks for joining the Lovin Abu Dhabi community! Keep exploring the city’s little joys and exciting happenings, and we’ll catch you in the next episode.
