“Interesting. Tell me more about it. Oh and before you start your story, pass me that plank so I can lie down on it,” Biggy said.

“우리 아버지께서는 큰 트럭을 운전하셨고 길에 세워져있는 모든 차들을 견인하시던 분이셨어. 새우드시는걸 좋아하셨고, 허세부리는걸 좋아하셨고, 박자가 느린 노래들을 듣는걸 좋아하셨고, 사교모임에서 친구들을 만나는걸 좋아하셨고, 토닉을 즐겨 마시던 분이셨지. 그는 우리 마을에 흩어져 있는 사람들을 연합시키는데 열심이셨어. 기력이 없었던 그 마을에 활력을 불어넣으셨지.”

“흥미롭군. 더 말해줘라. 아, 그리고 네가 너의 본격적인 이야기를 시작하기전에 거기에 있는 널빤지 좀 줄래? 그 위에 내가 누우려고,” Biggy 가 말했다.

“I know it’s really late to introduce myself, but let me do it. Oh, and thanks for being so genial and judicious. You saved me from the marsh. “No, I was just daydreaming about myself studying denominators, watching referendum, and cutting cabbages with scissors,” Biggy joked.

“내 소개를 하기엔 너무 늦었다는걸 알지만, 그래도 해볼께. 아, 그리고 너무 다정하게 날 대해주고 신중해줘서 고마워. 넌 나를 습지에서부터 구해줬잖아. 넌 차갑지만 상쾌한 사람인거같아. 정말 걸작이지! 내 소개에 앞서서 그때 넌 뭐하고 있었니? 먹을 양배추를 찾아 돌아다니고 있던거였니?” Voca 가 물었다.

“아니! 난 그때 공상에 잠겨있었어. 분수를 공부하고, 국민투표를 시청하고, 가위로 양배추를 자르고 있는 내 모습을 생각하고있었어,” Biggy 가 농담조로 말했다.

“하하하! 넌 정말 웃기는 사람이야. 난 널 지지해, 왜냐면 넌 내 삶을 환하게 만들었기때문이야. 난 불쌍한 고아 이지만, 넌 내가 신체적인 결함으로 고통 받고 있을때 날 치유해줬어. 내가 콜레라에 걸려도 니가 날 살려줄거란 믿음이 있어. 넌 내 상처를 붕대로 감아주었고, 낮잠을 잘 수 있도록 허락해줬지. 내가 너에게 명예로운 배지를 줄 수 있었으면 좋겠다. 내가 줄 수 없다는게 참 아쉽지만,” Voca 가 말했다.

“아, 칭찬해줘서 정말 고마워. 넌 참 유쾌한 사람이야. 니가 날 도울 수 있는 방법이 있어. 유언비어를 사실이라고 주장하는 나의 원수들을 내가 짓밟을 수 있도록 도와줘,” Biggy 가 말하였다.
