We should continue to introduce ourselves while digesting. I actually want to roll a dice and play a game called a “slap” game. The player with a higher number gets to slap and beset the loser,” Voca suggested.

“No, I don’t think that’s a good idea. I think I’m going to call a truce when I lose,” Biggy confessed.

“나 지금 너무 배가 불러! 저녁 너무 맛있었어. 여기 다시 올때 노 젓느라고 내 모든 에너지를 쓴것 같지만 말야. 혹시 저기 저장고 보여? 아마 저기안엔 많은 음식과 옷들이 있겠지? 저기 들어가서 모든걸 가져오고싶다! 내가 만약 걸리면, 니가 와서 몸값을 지불하고 날 구해줘야해. 아냐, 천벌받을 말 그만 해야겠다. 저녁 먹은것 소화 시킬겸 계속해서 자기소개나 할까. 사실 나 주사위를 던져서 때리기 게임을 하고싶어. 더 높은 숫자가 나온 사람이 진 사람을 때리고 괴롭히는거지,” Voca 가 제의했다.

“아냐, 그건 좋은 생각이 아닌것같아. 내가 지면 먼저 휴전을 외칠 것 같거든,” Biggy 가 실토했다.

Then they may renounce us,” said Voca.

“솔직히 말해서, 난 악당 무리가 와서 우리를 해칠까봐 두려워. 그들은 예의가 뭔지 모를테니까, 정말 무섭게 행동하겠지? 그들이 진을 많이 마셔서 취해있으면 어쩌지? 금을 달라고 할까? 우리는 돈을 벌기 위해서 돌을 채석하는 이나라의 애국자들이라고 말할까? 우리 말투에 연민을 자아내는 힘을 더 실어야 해. 그러면 그들이 우리를 포기할꺼야,” Voca 가 말했다.

“Don’t worry. Even the dictator cannot find us when we’re here. So nobody can make us live a life of servitude to anyone. We will someday traverse the forest and find a manor. We’ll then buy troughs, fowls, and razors. We’ll cook a hash and eat it whenever we want,” Biggy said.

“I hope so! Can you please ignite the tree? It’s cold,” Voca asked.

숲은 Biggy 의 웃음으로 가득 찼다.

“걱정하지마. 우리가 여기 있으면 독재자도 우릴 못찾을 걸. 아무도 우리를 누구에게 예속된 생활을 하게 만들 순 없어. 언젠가는 우리가 숲을 가로질러 영주의 저택을 찾게될꺼야. 그 다음 우리는 여물통과 닭들을 사고, 면도기도 사겠지. 그 다음 우리는 삶아서 잘게 썬 고기와 채소로 요리를 할 거고 우리가 원할때 언제든지 그 요리를 먹을거야,” Biggy 가 말했다.

“제발! 그렇게 되길 바래. 나무에 불을 지펴줄래? 춥다,” Voca 가 물었다.

“Biggy, wake up! Hurry up!” Voca shouted while splashing water on Biggy.

“What’s all this commotion about? Your voice is too brittle today! Did all the stars in our galaxy disappear or something?” Biggy asked.

“I think a tempest is coming,” Voca said.

“What? How did you know?”

“Look there!”

“Voca, that’s called a shuttle airplane heading to the commonwealth. You see that notch? That signifies the commonwealth. When they embark their troops to the battlefield, they use that shuttle airplane. I guess another country is trying to vie with our country,” Biggy said.

“Biggy, 일어나봐! 얼른!” Voca 가 Biggy 에게 물을 뿌리며 소리쳤다.

“이 소란은 대체 뭐야? 오늘 따라 니 목소리가 정말 귀에 거슬린다! 은하계에 있는 모든 별들이 사라지기라도 한거니?” Biggy 가 물었다.

“내 생각에 거센 폭풍이 오고있는것 같아,” Voca 가 말했다.

“뭐? 니가 어떻게 알아?”

“저길 봐!”

“Voca, 저건 연방정부로 가고있는 정기 왕복 항공기야. 저 표시가 보이니? 저 표시가 연방정부를 뜻해. 연방 정부가 군인들을 싸움터로 파견할 때 저 항공기를 사용해. 아마 다른 나라가 우리나라와 경쟁하려고 하는것 같아,” Biggy 가 말했다.
