“I thought you were sluggish, but it seems like you are one manic boy!” exclaimed Biggy.

“Well, I try to keep myself busy so I won’t recur to my old self, you know. I want to learn! Ok, now you’re sabotaging me right now. Go away,” added Voca.

“Fine! I wish we had a vinyl to cover our caravan,” said Biggy.

“Don’t worry. According to my filaments of memory, using vinyl is a jeopardy. I think I read the caption from a movie,” said Voca.

“Is that so? Then forget about it. I shall go and shave,” added Voca.

“내가 방금 만든 부케 좀 봐. 정말 아름답지 않니?” Voca 가 물었다.

“난 네가 느림보인줄 알았는데, 넌 바빠서 정신없는 아이였어!” Biggy 가 소리쳤다.

“난 내가 예전의 나로 되돌아 가지 않기 위해 열심히 하는것 뿐이야. 배우고싶어! 야, 너 지금 나 방해하고있거든. 저리가,” Voca 가 덧붙혔다.

“알겠어! 난 우리의 이동식 주택을 덮을 비닐이 있었으면 좋겠다고 생각해,” Biggy 가 말했다.

“걱정하지마. 내 기억의 실에 의하면, 비닐을 이용하는건 위험해. 영화 자막에서 읽었던것 같에,” Voca 가 말했다.

“아 그래? 그럼 됐어. 나 가서 면도 좀 해야겠어,” Voca 가 덧붙혔다.

The boys concurred on visiting the borough again, because they wanted to do many things. They wanted to read a preamble of a book about cloning and the history of karma, explore the science of convection, and learn more about how to treat iris infection, how to accrue more wealth in a shorter timeframe, how to caress an animal, and how to repel enemies.

두 소년은 그 도시를 가기로 마음먹었다, 왜냐하면 하고 싶은것들이 너무 많았기 때문이다. 그들은 복제에 대한 책의 서문을 읽고 싶었고, 상승기류의 과학에 대해 더 알고싶었고, 홍채 감염을 치료하는 법, 짧은 시간내에 부를 축적하는 법, 동물을 어루만져 주는 법, 그리고 원수를 물리치는 방법에 대해서 배우고 싶었다.

So, the boys went to speak with the guru of the town. They took a bottle of petrol, a pack of wafers, and pig carcasses as a payment. They had to pass through a high fence, high pegs, and five sentinels and envoys to meet him. The guru told the boys to sit asunder, and told them that they should never try to solicit for free.

그리하여 소년들은 마을의 권위자를 만나러 갔다. 그들은 지급품으로 휘발유 한병, 웨이퍼 (얇고 바삭하게 구운 과자) 한 묶음, 그리고 돼지고기를 가져갔다. 그들은 높은 울타리, 높은 말뚝, 그리고 다섯명의 보초병들 과 사절단을 지나서야 그를 만날 수 있었다. 권위자는 소년들보고 멀리 떨어져 앉으라고 한 다음, 공짜로 무언가를 얻으려고 해서는 절대로 안된다고 당부하였다.

The atmosphere of the room was quite taut, but the boys thought this salutary session was congruent to pierce their hearts. When they went back home, Biggy wrote an essay with annotations, and Voca carved the guru’s face to remember his teachings.

방 안에는 긴장감이 가득했지만 소년들은 이 유익한 모임이 자신들의 마음을 꿰뚫는데 적합했다고 생각했다. 참석자는 그들 뿐이였지만, 그들은 가득한 요리를 권위자와 함께 즐겼다는것에 굉장히 행복해 했다. 그들은 권위자를 다시 만나기 위해 외계와의 접촉이 없는 이 집을다시 들리겠노라고 약속하였다. 그들이 다시 집에 돌아갔을때, 권위자의 가르침을 기억하기 위해Biggy 는 주석을 달아가며 에세이를 썼고, Voca 는 권위자의 얼굴을 조각하였다.
