“Remember the girl in your arms is the runt! She always rived my heart, because she was so weak. But now she’s my delectation. Please protect her! Even if she’s a slob, please raise her well as a pundit in any area,” yawled Life.

“I think I just heard an anagram; I couldn’t understand anything he said,” said Voca.

Suddenly, they heard a loud gunshot.

“What’s going on? Why is he groveling? Why is his body belching out smoke? Is the air impregnated with deadly gas? What’s happening?” said Voca.

“네 팔안에 안겨있는 여자애는 제일 작고 약한 녀석이야! 내 마음을 항상 아프게 했었지, 왜냐면 언제나 약했어. 하지만 그녀는 나의 즐거움이야. 제발 그녀를 보호해줘! 그녀가 아무리 지저분한 게으름뱅이여도 그녀가 어떤 분야에서든지 전문가가 될 수 있도록 잘 키워줘,” 라이프가 슬픈듯이 길게 외쳤다.

“내 생각에 내가 방금 철자를 바꾼 어구를 들은 것 같에; 뭐라고 말하는지 하나도 이해못했어” 보카가 말했다.

그때 갑자기, 그들은 총 소리를 들었다.

“무슨일이 일어나는건데? 왜 갑자기 기어다니는거지? 그의 몸이 연기를 내 뿜는데? 혹시 나쁜 공기가 그쪽 공기에 가득 스며들었나? 뭔일이야?” 보카가 말했다.

“I’m just so sad that we can only put baubles on his body. You should whittle wood into figurines of the family members so that we can put them in the coffin,” said Voca.

“Sure! I miss his imprecations at me,” said Biggy.

“Me too. We should make sure that nothing daunts this family. Although we are tyros in protecting people, I’m sure that we can do it,” said Voca.

“Of course. I’m happy that his grave is abutted to this house,” said Biggy.

“Yeah, so he can drivel with us when we have parties,” said Voca.

“난 그의 몸에 싸구려 보석밖에 둘 수 없다는게 너무 슬프다. 니가 나무를 조금씩 깎아서 가족들의 작은 조각상으로 만들어봐. 그의 관 안에다가 같이 넣게,” 보카가 말했다.

“알겠어! 그가 나에게 했던 욕설이 그리워,” 비기가 말했다.

“나도. 우리가 그 아무것도 이 가족을 겁먹게 하지 못하게 해야해. 우리가 사람들을 보호하는데에 있어서 초보자 이지만, 우리가 할수 있다는것을 믿어,” 보카가 말했다.

“당연하지. 난 그의 무덤이 이 집 옆에 있다는게 좋네,” 비기가 말했다.

“맞아, 그래야 우리가 파티를 할때 그도 같이 군침을 흘리지,” 보카가 말했다.

“You must bestir yourself and wash your hair better. Look at those dandruffs!” exclaimed Voca.

“Ok. I will wash it now. But I feel bloated so let me rest,” said Biggy.

“Get inside the bathtub, right now!” exclaimed Voca.

“Look, Uncle Voca! A landscape of farmland is bisected by long straight roads,” exclaimed one of the girls.

“난 선택을 하는것에 익숙하지가 않아서, 네가 날 도와줘야 할꺼야,” 비기가 말했다.

“뭐? 내가 널 비난하게 만들지마,” 보카가 말했다.

“넌 나에게 영양물을 줘야해!” 비기가 말했다.

“제발 일반 보통사람이 쓰는 말을 해주겠니?” 보카가 말했다.

“나를 비방하려 하지 말아줘. 너가 계속 그러면 난 심장마비로 무능하게 될꺼야,” 비기가 말했다.

“넌 니 자신을 분발시키고 머리를 좀 잘 감아야해. 거기 비듬 좀 봐!” 보카가 말했다.

“알겠어 지금 감을게. 근데 지금 좀 배가 부르니까 쉬게 해줘,” 비기가 말했다.

“욕조 안에 당장 들어가, 당장!” 보카가 소리쳤다.

“보카삼촌! 저기 보세요! 농지가 큰 길로 나뉘어 져 있네요,” 소녀중 한명이 소리쳤다.

“Ok, can you pass me the gazette? Let’s see what it says there,” said Voca.

“Uncle Biggy, I feel stodgy. Can we go outside?” said one of the girls.

“No, we should stay here. Why don’t you go and assort your candies by colors?” said Biggy.

“Ok. But why did the nation dissolve into fission and acrimony? What's the malediction about?” asked the girl.

“저들이 도대체 누구인거야? 그들은 절대 시들지 않는 꽃 같아. 그 무엇도 그들을 만족 시킬 수 없지,” 비기가 말했다.

“흠, 혹시 그 신문 좀 줘봐, 거기 뭐라고 되어 있는지 보게,” 보카가 말했다.

“비기삼촌! 나 소화가 잘 안되는것 같아요. 밖에 나갈 수 있어요?” 소녀중 한명이 말했다.

“안돼, 여기 있어야해. 가서 너의 캔디들을 색깔별로 나눠보지 그래?” 비기가 말했다.

“알겠어요. 근데 이 나라가 왜 분열이 일어났고 매섭게 된거죠? 저주는 또 뭐구요?” 소녀가 물었다.
