In 1855 around the borders of Oklahoma and Arkansas the Choctaw Nation had some incursions from a group of large hairy monsters. These intruders were taking the crops, killing the livestock, and even grabbing the children and women of the tribes. So a War chief and his sons gathered a war party, “the Light horsemen” to take care of the monsters.
