Creatures that are similar to the North American Bigfoot have been sighted on every continent except Antarctica, Australia based author and researcher George Mitrovic told host George Noory. While they vary in size, from the seven to eight foot tall Bigfoot to smaller creatures, they are all examples of hairy wild men, Mitrovic said. Over the course of his research, he’s tracked recorded sightings as far back as the first settling of the West Coast of North America, and he noted that Native American lore about the creatures stretched back even further. Mitrovic said he couldn’t say for sure, but opinions were split on whether the creatures seen were more human or more animal.
He believes the entities seen around the globe are all related when questioned about the relationship between Bigfoot and the Himalayan Yeti. He noted that while the Yeti was sometimes seen in the high mountain snow fields, they likely lived lower down the mountains where food sources would be more abundant. Mitrovic also questioned why a creature hadn’t been shot and killed by a hunter yet, given the large number of recreational hunters in North America.
Surprisingly, while Bigfoot is associated with the Pacific Northwest, with some of the earliest recorded sightings coming out of Northern California, Mitrovic said there were more sightings from the area around and near Los Angeles. He also said with the proliferation of trail cameras and thermal cameras, it might only be a matter of time before one is captured on film. “You might start seeing other things you wouldn’t have expected,” he added. “Bigfoot might be one of them.” Mitrovic also touched on his research with portals and other cryptids before taking listener questions.

Psychic and medium Patti Negri is a self-described “good witch.” In the second half of the program, she talked about her journey in Wicca, and her life as a medium. “I actually think I was born that way, while I was a little kid in my suburban Long Beach home,” she told George. She said her mom would ask her why she was picking wild herbs and placing them in her purse, and only as an adult did she learn that the herbs she was picking were used in spells to attract money.
She said one of the benefits of witchcraft is being able to take control of your own fate. “Water runs downhill, and life in its normal path will just kind of run downhill. To me, witchcraft means I’m going to build a dam.” Continuing the analogy, she said bad magic would be hoarding all of that water once you’d built the dam – instead of sharing the blessing – and that has negative karmic impacts. “What you put out, you get back three times, (and that’s) not even karma. So why would I put out hexes and curses? Why not put out love and abundance?” She also discussed her experience as a “good vibes” vampire, and how that differs from the traditional idea of blood drinking vampires, as well as the different types of education she has experienced and the educational opportunities she offers.
Negri then touched on her work with ghost hunters like Zak Bagans, and the popularity of haunted items such as haunted dolls. She told George not all haunted dolls were bad and that, like people, most ghosts weren’t bad either. She closed the program by answering listener questions and providing quick readings on areas of concern.
