This NBA Season brought a lot of unexpected narratives. The Sacramento Kings arose as one of the best teams in the West, The Knicks and Jalen Brunson are a serious playoff threat, and guys like Lauri Markkanen have taken massive leaps in their game out of nowhere. There have also been some major dissapointments. The Dallas Mavericks lose Jalen Brunson for nothing in the offseason, trade for Kyrie Irving halfway through the season, and are now struggling just to win games.
