In this podcast, I would try to demystify some of the intricacies in doing a PhD. First, we will try to understand what a PhD by definition is. Then we will try to learn about the structure of a typical PhD program be it in India or abroad. We will also try answer what a PhD scholar is expected to do during the entire duration of 3-6 years. Then we will also try to answer who should actually go for a PhD and who should not. While doing PhD what kind of financial support is expected, we will also discuss that in a concise manner.
