What is lent all about anyways?

 Today with a guest, Fr. Matthew Rappl, we discuss the history of Lent, what lent is like for us, and how to understand it better. Here is the Wikipedia page on more fasting information.  One correction I tried to make a distinction between swearing and cursing when in fact I meant cussing. All are expletives and often used interchangeable, but there can be subtle differences if you want to look at it. Here is a short article that I think explains.
