Following several years of steady growth, the Box Elder Composite Mountain Bike Team started competing in Division 1—the highest level of competition in the state—where they finished fourth overall in Region 1 out of 15 teams. The team had 104 racers this year—74 high school athletes and 30 in junior high—and in the three region races this year, the team had an average of 35% of its racers place in the top 10 of their respective categories.
