We've counted trillions of galaxies and looked across billions of light years in the observable universe. We've confused ourselves trying to understand the strange quantum behaviour of the atoms that form us. And yet we still haven't located our consciousness with which we've come to know what we know. Are we the "indicator species for the nearby presence of the transcendental object". Can we get there by bike?
