Bikie boss guilty of ordering public execution
David Pye was found guilty of murder and five other charges in Western Australia's Supreme Court for orchestrating the execution of rival bikie boss Nick Martin. Martin was shot by a hired sniper at Kwinana Motorplex in December 2020 while families watched. The ex-soldier sniper, who was paid $150,000 for the hit, became the prosecution's star witness and is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
