Bill Bradley: Lessons Beyond The Court

Bill Bradley has spent much of his life in the public eye: as one of the best college basketball players in the country at Princeton, as a professional player and influential part of a team that won two NBA titles and as a US Senator from New Jersey.  He heard plenty of cheers as a member of the New York Knicks of the late 60’s and early 70’s, one of the most beloved teams in the city’s history.  But it is those chapters in between the most prominent periods of his life that intrigue me and are the subjects of our conversation here: growing up in Missouri before he attended Princeton, his two years as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford as the NBA awaited and the transition from the NBA to public office.  It is a life filled with victories and defeats on the court and lessons learned beyond it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.Learn more about your ad choices.
