Bill Streever lives on a sailing boat and is a biologist and naturalist and affiliate faculty member with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. He is the award-winning and bestselling nature writer behind the books 'Cold' and 'Heat.'
According to his bio, Streever "has worked on issues ranging from the environmental effects of underwater sound to the evolution of cave crayfish to the restoration of tundra wetlands to climate change."
