During a crucial CNN interview, legal experts meticulously dissected the way Judge Merchan issued his jury instruction, raising profound concerns about the trial's legality.

 

In a rare alignment, defense lawyer Randy Zelin and former Trump lawyer Tim Parlatore concurred on a significant constitutional concern regarding Judge Merchan's jury instructions. These flawed instructions could potentially lead to an overturned conviction.

 

Judge Merchan's instruction to the jury was controversial-they didn't have to agree unanimously on alleged crimes committed by Trump but could pick one out of three to return a guilty verdict.

 

This is one of the many more reversible errors Merchan will have to own on appeal.
